Two lucky gamblers became instant millionaires last weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. CDG Gaming reported that the casino experienced what it called a "blizzard of jackpots" from February 20 to 22, with two separate guests winning over a million dollars each.
The first winner, a guest from Long Island, New York, hit a jackpot of $1,362,883 on the Dragon Link Panda Magic slot machine. The guest placed a $50 bet on the $2 denomination machine, turning it into a life-changing sum. According to Hard Rock, Dragon Link is known for its high-limit and premium slot titles, frequently producing sizable progressive payouts.
The second major win occurred during a game of Three Card Poker. A guest from Wayne placed a $5 progressive side bet and hit a royal flush, winning a $1,043,287 mega jackpot. Progressive table games jackpots are funded through optional side bets, with prize pools growing until a qualifying hand is dealt.
Both winners chose to remain anonymous, but their stories have added to the excitement at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The casino is also planning a $50 million capital improvement project in 2026, which will include renovations to guest rooms, the opening of a new high-limit slot parlor, and new dining options, such as the East Indian restaurant Sitar and a location of Philly's Federal Donuts & Chicken.
