The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly finalizing a trade sending pass rusher Bryce Huff to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a midround pick, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The trade won't officially be processed until after Sunday (June 1), however, the two sides are working toward making it happen as Huff, 27, has already reportedly agreed to a reworked contract in order for the deal to be completed. Huff was set to make $17 million fully guaranteed from the Eagles during the 2025 NFL season, which will now be split with Philadelphia paying $9.05 million and San Francisco paying $7.95 million.

The reported move will reunite Huff with defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, who was his former head coach during his stint with the New York Jets, which included recording a career-high 10 sacks and 68 QB pressures on 312 pass rush snaps, accounting for the NFL's best pressure rate average at 21.8%, for the 2023 season, according to ESPN Next Gen Stats.

Huff made six starts and appeared in 12 games for the eventual Super Bowl LIX champion Eagles in 2024, recording 13 tackles, 2.5 sacks, three tackles for loss, four QB hits and one forced fumble.
