The Delaware Water Gap Welcome Center along Interstate 80 in Monroe County reopened on Wednesday (May 21) after being closed for repairs since November. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that the facility underwent significant updates, including roof repairs and interior improvements.
The welcome center is now fully operational, with all areas, including restrooms, vending, and parking, accessible to the public. PennDOT Welcome Centers are open daily, including most holidays, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Trained staff are available to provide information on regional attractions and assist with travel and accommodation needs.
