The Jefferson Township Recreation Department, the Jefferson Township Education Foundation, and the Jefferson Arts Committee invite you and your family and friends to the first annual J-Town Jamboree Food Truck, Live Music, and Vendor celebration on Saturday, July 12 from 11 am to 7 pm. The event takes place on the fields of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge, NJ.
Here’s what you can expect on July 12…
- Feast on delicious food from 15 food vendor trucks including: Cousins Maine Lobster, Eat My Balls, The Mozzarella God, Jefferson Dairy, We Squeeze to Please, Jersey Johnny’s, Latin Bites, AJ’s Country Cone, Donut NV, Johnny Zeppoles, Jefferson Dairy, The Black Forest Inn, Hold My Knots, The Empanada Guy, Master Asador BBQ.
- Shop among some 50 arts/crafts/merchandise vendors selling a huge variety of products
- Enjoy live musical entertainment from DJ Earl of Sound Solutions Entertainment with three live bands
- Dizaster Horse opening up the entertainment at 11:15 am, the Jefferson Township Community Jazz Band directed by Peter A. Tummillo, Jr. on stage at 2 pm, and Vera and the Force performing at 4:05 pm
- Take a chance to win some money by buying tickets for the 50/50 raffle at $1 each, 3 for $5 and 10 for $15 to benefit the Jefferson schools and the full Jefferson Community. Payment can be made by cash or Venmo. Winning ticket will be called at the end of the event, and the winner need not be present.
- Children will have a great time on the three different inflatable slide units from Bounce and Beyond NJ
- Purchase a wristband for $15 per child that will allow unlimited use of all the inflatable rides throughout the event! Cash, Venmo, or credit cards accepted
- That same $15 wristband also allows unlimited play in the children’s game tent throughout the event\
- compete in the Switchholio Cornhole Tournament to be run by Saggy Bags to benefit the Wm. H. Flatt, Jr. American Legion Post #245
The $35 registration fee (pre-register at https://share.scoreholio.com/bXPnnSn03Tb) will be paid at the cornhole station on the field allowing participation. The proceeds of the tournament will benefit Post #245’s rebuilding fund for their hall on Espanong Road that burned to the ground in 2022. Note that the Jamboree event admission fee will be collected at the gate entrances.
Admission at the Jamboree gates is $5 per adult, $3 for senior citizens and students, children 5 and under are admitted free. Cash, Venmo, and credit cards will be accepted at all entrance gates.
Your parking is free at the Jefferson Township Middle School (1010 Weldon Road), the Jefferson Township High School – Lot A (1000 Weldon Road), the Jefferson Township High School – Lot B with a handicap placard or an event issued parking pass, the SnoBowl field (995 Weldon Road), and the Jefferson Township Municipal Building complex (1033 Weldon Road). Please obey all traffic signs and the instructions of the police officers.
Bring a chair or a blanket for your comfort, no coolers, no large bags (all bags subject to inspection by the Jefferson Township Police Department), no pets, and no alcohol allowed.
