BEING SOMEBODY stars the extraordinary 89-year-old psychologist/executive coach, Dr. Howard Mase, alongside his recording artist/writer/performer daughter, Marla Mase. Together, through storytelling and music, this real-life father/daughter tour de force takes audiences on a nostalgic and funny coming-of-age journey. Howard brings to life what it was like growing up as a skinny Jewish kid in Brooklyn’s post-war gleam of the 1940s, while Marla sings about holding fast to our dreams in the gritty disco era of the 1970s.
BEING SOMEBODY has received standing ovations in sold-out theaters across the country, and will be at the Sparta Avenue Stage, (10 Sparta Ave. Sparta, NJ 07871) Saturday, April 26 @ 7 PM and Sunday, April 27 @ 4 PM.
