According to NJ.com and Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, one man was shot to death and two were gunned down in Newark on Wednesday afternoon.
22-year-old Jumar T. Miranda of Newark, was killed when the shooting occurred about 4:41 p.m. on the 900 block of 18th Avenue. No arrests have been made thus far.
Miranda and the two other injured men were transported to University Hospital.
Miranda was announced dead about 40 minutes later, while one of the surviving victims is in critical condition and the other stable.
