School Bus Driver Molested Students During "Hide-and-Seek"

70-year-old Thomas Thomasevich was arrested on Tuesday with charges of sexual assault, child endangerment and multiple counts of neglect. Morris County Prosecutor's Office says he is being held at the Morris County Jail.

Thomasevich would bribe the students with donuts and candy so they would not reveal what had been going on.

Beginning back in October, the assaults continued until one of the girl students mentioned on Jan. 17 to her guidance counselors, "abuse by 'Bus Driver Tom'."

He would arrive at the school early where students would have to stay on the bus, which is when he used the opportunity to sexually assault two girls. The girls were under the age of 13, but Kinnelon school was not revealed in court documents.

Police say during an interview on Tuesday, Thomasevich said he "might have touched one student, but that was accidental because his eyes were closed for the game." He then denied touching a second student.

Thomasevich faces two charges of sexual assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and six counts of cruelty, and neglect of children.
