Youth Pastor Admits to Child Porn and Sexting with Minors

A Franklin Borough man, who was also a church pastor in Oak Ridge, pleaded guilty to the possession of more than 100 images of child pornography and having "sexually explicit" chats with underage girls over social media.

38-year-old Darryl Farrier pleaded guilty on April 2, where he was charged with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child by sexual conduct along with possessing almost 1,000 images of sexual exploitation or abuse, of children.

According to the New Jersey Herald, the state is recommending a three year sentence, while Farrier's attorney, Charles O'Connell, is seeking a suspended sentence.

Regardless of what happens with Farrier's sentence, he will still be mandated to Megan's Law registration and parole supervision for life.
