According to the Sparta Independent, The Jefferson Township Museum will be reopening on Sunday April 7.
There will be an Open House from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and admission will be free.
The Museum, located at 315 Dover-Milton Road, also known as the George Chamberlain House, has been freshly painted, featuring new rooms with a new overall look.
Costumed staff will be around to talk about the Victorian home and a "Miss Elizabeth's Shoppe" will be located in the Museum's original kitchen with new and vintage items for sale.
In 2010, the Museum was entered into the National and State Registers of Historic Places.
