According to the Hopatcong-Sparta Patch, the Little Sprouts Early Learning Center is seeking volunteers to assist in dance instruction, art projects, nutrition education, reading to children and more.
Schedules can be flexible and there is no experience required, but all volunteers must be 16 years or older.
The Little Sprouts Early Learning Center is operated by Project Self-Sufficiency, which is a local non-profit that offers many services to families within northwest New Jersey.
There is room for 83 children, ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years old, where there are separate classrooms for each age group.
Each classroom has fully-qualified teachers where the child-teacher ratio is up to state standards.
You can sign up to volunteer online here or fill out a downloadable version of the official application here, and mail it to Project Self-Sufficiency, 127 Mill Street, Newton, NJ 07860.
