41 Big Screen Films You Probably Didn't Know Filmed in N.J.

Most movies are filmed in various locations and most of the time, these locations are very well-known, populated areas that are recognizable to all. But, who knew these popular movies filmed portions of their scenes in our nearby New Jersey towns?!

NJ.com has a list of big blockbuster movies that filmed in areas including Oakland, Ogdensburg, Newark and so many more. Films ranging from "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" (2013), "Mean Girls" (2004), "I Am Legend" (2007), "Big" (1988) and even "Annie" (1982) all had a snippet or homage to New Jersey. Even more recent and award winning films are on the list!
