Drug Dealer Arrested in Morris Township School Zone

According to the Morristown Patch, Randy Mateo of New York was arrested about 9:40 p.m. on Normandy Heights Road Thursday night.

Morris Township police were patrolling the neighborhood, having been a target of burglary and theft, when Mateo was found sitting in a parked car with the headlights on.

Police smelt raw marijuana, leading them to search his car, where they found "raw marijuana packaged for sale, hashish, drug paraphernalia and pot brownies."

Mateo has been charged with two counts of third degree possession of marijuana/hashish with intent to distribute and a third degree possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within a school zone. He was also charged with fourth degree possession of marijuana and was released on a complaint summons with an upcoming court date.
