The 2018 Lake Mohawk German Christmas Market is happening this weekend (Dec. 1-2) and is now expanding to a second location.

Each year there are vendors and activities for children, that are set up at the Lake Mohawk Country Club. In addition to this location, there will be similar events and vendors set up at the Sparta Train Station for everyone to visit as well.

You won't have to worry about driving from one place to another, because a shuttle service will be offered to and from each location.

It is encouraged that patrons use the park and ride bus service which runs between the Lake Mohawk Country Club, the Sparta Train Station and from designated park and ride lots, which include Sparta Middle School and Sparta High School.

Although the festival is generally free, a suggested donation of $10 per car to park is requested. But, a donation of any size will help fulfill the expenses of making the festival happen.

Parking tends to be limited in the Lake Mohawk Boardwalk area. According to the NJ Herald, Township Police impose restrictions in White Deer Plaza for two hours only. This will be heavily enforced.
