If you have been waiting for tickets to the popular Polar Express ride in Whippany, NJ to go on sale this 2018 holiday season, the time is finally here!
Rides on the Polar Express attraction began on Nov. 17 and will continue to run through Dec. 30. The ride includes hot chocolate and cookies served to children by dancing chefs. It also includes a read-along to the classic Chris Van Allsburg book. As told in the book and portrayed in the film, children will receive a silver sleigh bell by Santa and his helpers.
This experience lasts about two hours. It is recommended that you book your tickets in advance so you do not miss out. For those that may need it, wheelchair seating is available, but limited.
Tickets start at $40 for children in coach and go up to $75 for adults first class "peak" tickets. Children under two are allowed to ride for free if sitting on a parent's lap. Pricing does vary depending on when you go. Weekends in December tend to be more expensive, while weekdays in November tend to be the least expensive.
