This is not something you hear every day or even every year. Identical twin sisters in Fresno, California gave birth just two hours apart from each other.
According to the NJ Herald, The Fresno Bee reported that BaoKou Yang was the first sister in labor on Sunday. A bit later, her sister BaoNhia Yang told her she was experiencing pain and that she may be in labor at the same time.
BaoKou gave birth at 6:59 p.m. on Sunday, while BaoNhia delivered her baby at 8:48 p.m.
Both sisters gave birth to a daughter, where both daughters were almost the same weight. Crazy, right?!
The twin sisters are from a family that has 14 children and were very close as they grew up.
Originally, the sisters had due dates that were two days apart, so they placed bets on who they thought would give birth first. Never thinking it would end up this close, they are excited that their daughters will share a birthday just like they do.
